Azad Jammu and Kashmir, also called Azad Kashmir, has a beautiful tricolor flag. This tricolor flag of Azad Kashmir, AJK, has green, white and yellow color and was adopted on 24th September 1975 in the presidency of Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan. The different colors of AJK Flag represents different aspects of Jammu and Kashmir.
- The Green Background Color represents Muslim majority of Jammu and Kashmir
- The Golden Color represents minorities of the State of Jammu and Kashmir
- The White Color represents snow-covered mountains of Jammu and Kashmir
